If you are going to use it for anything other than wine, get a beverage cooler (big $$$ for a quality unit) or a just a small fridge. Many of the wine coolers only go down to 45º or so, and the cheap ones don't last. We have a Vintotemp wine cooler that we built into the cabinets (mostly as a decoration to sell the house, which we found out is cursed and can never be sold) and it died shortly after the warranty ran out. It was a $400 price-level unit. Now it is used for cast iron and carbon steel pan & skillet appliance storage.

Now I keep my beer in my Overland fridge, which is plugged into the wall.

Funny, my ARB sits next to the table and that's where I keep my beer too. Thanks for the recommendation. I've been looking at wine fridges and beverage coolers and they are $$$. A small fridge might be the ticket.

I don't know why y'all get all up in arms about appliances. I buy the cheapest s*** out there and throw it away when it breaks and then buy new cheap s***. Easy!

In my experience the cheap s*** doesn't even break, just the fancy s***.

I got a "beer fridge" from Target or Walmart some 15+ years ago. SS front door, keeps beer colder than it should be and I think I paid less than $100. KC&CO

20 something years for ours [C knows when we finally moved in, I forget] and it's happily performing well - sorry you had issues there but gotta stick up for the brand. We ever move, it's on my get another one list.

Anyone need a 110 Heat and Cool window unit? I bought this one in April for the build out downstairs and the home HVAC cools it fine without. It has never been out of the box. It seems now they are on a smoking sale but ohh well.

I am open to trades or cash. Just let me know what you think is fair.

I chopped the base propeller up somehow on my Kitchen Aid blender base.

Is this thing toast?

Kitchenaid ice maker started smoking.
You fxxxers have hexed me.

My Bosch washing machine has been throwing an E:12 error code this week. None of the problems listed in the manual have turned out to be the culprit, and I haven't been able to get ahold of the repair guy for several days now. We leave for Disneyworldland in the morning and need to wash a Space Mountain-sized pile of clothes, so I'm pulling a Nolen and buying a new one. $#@% this thing.

So, Cam...curious: Will you/did you buy another Bosch washing machine?

I probably would have bought another Bosch since those were the only ones I could squeeze in my closet, but Lowe's didn't appear to carry any Bosch washers (or dryers) this time.

After carefully measuring each and every front loader in the store, I was only able to find one line that might work. The LGs. And I want to stress the might.

Most were too deep or the top wouldn't accept the Bosch dryer's footprint.

So I sprung for a model near the top of the food chain and hauled it home. After much cussing and swearing, I was able to get it swapped out.

We've already run five loads through and so far we like it. It lights up like a spaceship and sings a little song when the load is done.

The downside is that it's about 1/2" too deep and we can't close the door. A few strategic swipes with my circular saw & chisel ought to solve that though.

Seems decent though. Should last at least 2 or 3 years :grinpimp:

That looks fancy Cam. Let's see what song it sings 3 years from now. I hope LG isn't the Kitchenaide of Korea, or you'll be singing the Memphis Blues.

Shouldn't you be at the Crawl?
