Cam, What do you use for your cream/milk/froth? The stuff in europe pales in comparison
to here in the US but I am not sure why.

Either 2% or whole milk. It's just steamed. To keep this appliance tech, I store it in our Kitchenaid side by side, which unlike all the other POS Kitchenaid appliances in our kitchen, is a nice unit.

I have a 12 or so year old shop fridge.

It is starting to run out of steam. Cooling beer to 45 ish and the freezer about 30

Is there any merit in me pulling it out and blowing out all the dirt and cobwebs from the grates?

Can it be recharged? That's a crappy thing to spend $400 on

Pull it out and clean it up good then see what it'll do. Can't hurt.

Coil is probably packed with dirt/dust...you might find it to be a free repair ;)

Should be both.

I'll step in...

"Wait, what?"

Well, did it help Grogan?

It should be pretty evident what gets water or air. You should be able to spray some simple green type cleaner on the back and clean it right up. If you lay it down to clean the bottom (which is fine) let it sit upright for a bit before you plug it back in.

usually the refrigerator coil is on the back is painted black it's a simple heat air exchanger. It tends to accumulate dust. Every time I've had a refrigerator died on me it was after laying on its side.

Well a Whirlpool refrigerator less than 6 months old on its 4 service call. They are to be calling me to replace it but I don't even want a freaking Whirlpool again. Should have never gotten anything other than Samsung.
