AOE bumper group buy???

I find the chill quite tolerable in a desmogged and legally registered diesel cruiser ..l..
Any idea how far out they are compared to a ARB or TJM? We have a few lifted 80s and 100s with ARB or TJM bumpers installed on them. I'm familiar with the way those feel and drive. Just trying to figure out how much of a difference there would be.

The AOE is higher and appears to stick out about 4" further than the arb, this is purely an observation by going through the photos on the forum and I don't have an ARB to compare with. 4" seems pretty accurate though, we Asians... Are very familiar with how 4 inches look and feel

So, I've been thinking...
I can see benefits to having a winch available in the front AND rear. Of course there is no way I'm about to drop even more on an extra winch for the rear.
How about modifying the AOE bumper to add a front hitch receiver and then also get a "portable" winch setup?
Coupled with a nice rear hitch receiver I think this could be awesome.
What do you guys think?

Golgo13, I like that idea, save some weight and money is a good thing. I've seen that mod and I have the page saved on chrome, includes parts and where to order them or make them yourself. Do you have something drawn up yet? I wanted to put a winch in the rear too, I don't mind it being perm either.

Sorry man, Japan guy got his 4 days ago.
You are kidding right? I've heard of the slow boat but did mine go with it? And then to Oz? Then NC? I mean I live on the side of I-40. It pretty much runs from my house to his place give a dozen turns
Really wasnt antsy till i had expected dates. It was posted they'd been shipped (picked up) on 18th so I figured 3-4 th. then heard they really went out on 6th so I figured 11th Ish. Then finally heard from Alex and was told Tuesday. Now it's almost 5 on Friday and I've skipped another day of work ( but got an oil change and axle rebuild done) ..... Basically shouldn't have bookmarked this page. LOL. Anyhow I just wanna get the thing bolted on and go hit a rock or two. thanks again for the group buy effort...... Wish I had 2G for a set of shocks that I needed more than the bumper.

What order are you guys doing the bolts? I did bottom then top but now the ones in the outside won't line up. Think I'm gonna redo it starting with the sides then bottom then top.

I was just messing bro, Japan didn't go through, customs cost too much. Hope you get yours today though, or else I will keep trolling you. You need to get these shocks while I can get them at this low price, I'm trying to get free hats and shirts.
