Now I see. He went thru Canada to jersey and now he can't make a left turn to get to NC :D
But how did he pass wrench???

And on another note. Alex mentioned to mod the drier as shown and said in 3-4 yrs had no issues with ac in SoCal. Move the bracket over till the left hole aligns with the right. But now I see the poster alexbv (is this alex of aoe) showing his raised in vertical fashion. I'd prefer that fashion per OEM recommendations and will give It a shot once bumper shows up.

I got it!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!

The packaging of these bumpers were totally unprofessional. They put them into a box. That's it. Sure there was a little plastic wrap around them but that was it? No padding around the coated bumper. There are three locations where the powder coating was rubbed off... Are you joking.... When I received my ARB a few years back it was completely wrapped and in pristine condition. AOE has a long ways to go if they want to grow their business. So now what? Is AOE going to pay to repowder coat the bumper? I'm frustrated and it's not even my bumper.

It is just too bad that they would send a great bumper out with so little care.

Mine wasn't even in a box. It was just wrapped in plastic and slapped loosely on a pallet. I didn't get a chance to check the finish out as it was dark and rainy here. That being said I'm impressed on how BEEFY this thing is! Makes the ARB look like a toy!

Goneloco, I understand how you feel and I'm sorry to hear the bumper got dinged up, you should definitely contact Alex. According to my conversation with Alex, they were all shipped in a box, I'm betting due to severe weather might have gotten the box wet and the weight of the bumper finished the job. The movers picked it up and likely went through the box, if they weren't packaged well then that's a different story.

once I pick it up from Goneloco, Ill get some high def shots and take and look at what my options are.... bare metal + wet Canadian weather .... hahahha

Glad to hear wrench got his

Yea no kidding, we had it really bad today here in Southern California. I was so confused today, I couldn't tell if it was summer or winter, but it's horrible walking around in a T shirt with the cool breezes combing through my hair and the sun kissing my bare skin with its' life giving UV. The birds were chirping and stray cats meowing under the bushes, while riding the golf cart to my car during lunch time. I enjoyed the scenic drive of tall hot females in there tight jeans and high heels. Which brings me back to why I opt for bare metal and clear finish, if it gets dinged up I can touch it up.

Im not Alex from AOE but they installed and did the dryer mod on my rig. The tubing seems a little kinked but he AC works fine.

So now that a lot of you have the bumpers installed how are you liking them? Looks like the uprights stick out pretty far. Is that an issue when driving or parking? I spend a lot of time on road as its a DD for me.

Couldn't figure how to edit my above post, so I'll make another.

How hard is it getting under the hood with these bigger bumpers on? Leaning over them while working seems like it would make it much more difficult to access the engine bay.

I had a way further extended stinger on my tacoma, I can tell you it was nice, saved a few people from backing into my truck :P

its more a getting used to it than anything, I feel with how much closer the bumpers sit than ARB's and TJM's I feel your probably close to the same in distance out

I cannot however speak for how far it sticks out yet, as mine is still not installed :P

hahaha its funny you mention that, I actually love plate bumpers for using as a step to get into the engine bay, as it stand without a bumper its a pain, its too damn tall
