It's always tough to say goodbye. At least you know it's going to a good family. Tell that new pig owner he needs to bring it to the pig party.

I was just thinking about this 55 the other day and wondering its status. Congrats to you both ! In with the new and out with the old (and vice versa). Delighted to see it is alive and well after all these years - cheers !

Thought I'd give this a bump-

Family, work, other interests and life in general have conspired to keep my beloved blue pig in the shed all too much over the past 5-6 years. I was cleaning up my shop Friday morning and, thinking about what a shame it was to have the pig locked away, not getting any use. It was clearly time to let it go.

About a year ago, another mud member sent me a text to let him know if I ever wanted to sell. I never replied, but probably unbeknownst to him, he planted a seed.

So Friday morning I contacted him, told him I was ready, with intentions of using funds on a 100 series-possibly for my wife, kids or a back up vehicle( my tundra is getting up there in mileage :))

Well, surprise!! Turns out, he's got a hundred that he's willing to trade!

He drove up yesterday morning in a stunning and tastefully built 99. I was blown away. We greeted and immediately started talking cruisers. We walked around the pig, and I think he was equally excited- it was obvious we were gonna make a deal. We spent the next couple of hours talking cruisers and checking out some local cruisers in the area- I was able to show him some of the projects and cruisers that belonged to my dear lost friend, Missipboy.

After our visit, a deal was quickly made, and my pig would be heading south to join the cotton land cruisers club down in Jackson. What I expected to be a bitter farewell, was more like simply a page turning. I was excited for the new owner and the adventure he was about to embark on. Oh, and it didn't hurt to have a bad ass hundy parked in the garage!

I can only hope he has at least half the fond memories, friendships and FUN, that I had in the ol pig!!!

Thanks Patrick.

@battle,

Just stumbled on this checking out some pig threads. So cool to get to see some of the early pics and build pics.

Very proud to be the caretaker entrusted to write the next chapter on your Pig.

That was a fun day last saturday and glad it all worked out.

Glad you like the hundy and hope you and your family can make some good memories in it as well.

I'm so excited about this pig and meeting you guys soon Bubba.
