Worked on the alignment today. It has been driving fairly straight on most roads, once up around 55+mph it has always drifted slightly to the right. One half turn at a time I pulled it back to the left so it drives pretty straight now, I even hit 70 something mph to see how it handled.

Then had to drive up the road behind my house to take a better look around. We have a pretty strong inversion going on right now keeping smoke down low.

Centered the steering wheel also.

Smoke from? Commifornia fires? I have had mine to 60ish and it is down right scary. I can’t imagine 70.
Great photos as always.
Smoke from chimneys! Quite a few people heat their homes strictly with wood!

I'm one of them.

When I lived in Missoula, they had an ordnance that said something along the lines of even numbered houses could burn on even numbered days and vice versa. Prevailing winds would bottle all the chimney smoke up on the southeast end of the valley. It was pretty evident from our house up on the hill on the south side.

I'm not sure they can even burn wood in Zoo anymore. Maybe if they're grandfathered in.

It’s like picking money off of the ground. (Wish it was that easy).
It's definitely earned! Helluva lot better than paying for LP all winter. I averaged almost $100 a week in LP the first winter in our house.

Now I only use it to cook and heat water.

I'm going to have tp pick your brain about this, sometime. As soon as I get my rear brakes done and the MC replaced os I can drive it again! LOL

Cleaned the plugs today, didn't find anything alarming. Pulled the dizzy cap off and checked it out. I did find that all the tips were glazed over a little. A few minutes with a small file and they were as good as new, same with the rotor bug.
Here's some pics of a couple of the plugs.

My battery tray has seen better days but it's not done yet, kind of a Betty White thing.

I added some fender washers to secure the tray to the tower, that resulted in the bolt heads sticking up above the base of the tray.

A little rubber mat solved that issue.

Drove up to the big city to find a Christmas present for the wife.

After cleaning the glaze off of the dizzy cap I did notice that the engine had some extra pep, easily a 1/2hp upgrade!

In all seriousness, cleaning the plugs and cap really seemed to bring the engine back to life.

Not that it was struggling to begin with, but it definitely woke it up. It's a heck of a lot more responsive and has a bit of kick in the seat again.

Like chipping a diesel.

Back in the '87 when I got my first 40, my grandpa used to help me with the points etc, and it did improve things... but that 1971 need a distributor and a bunch of stuff. So, I sold it for a '74 with a SBC and a TH400!

What tire pressure are you running in the razr's? Got mine on with ~36 and I feel like I have too much, only getting contact in the middle of the tire

I'm down to about 22 right now, might even drop em down to 20 soon. I had the same thing going on when I mounted mine.
