Whatever you want to call it, you are doing it right as far as I can see. Having finally 'almost' finished
by BJ74. Nice work!

The key is to get it nice but stop before it becomes "too nice". I was barely able to pull that off with my BJ74. If I had gone any further it would have ended up parked and patted only. I'm SO glad I did not take it that far. I would have missed out on some really high-quality drive time with it.

Welded back up the cracks were the front hood bumpers rest.

Who ever painted the hood the last time apparently did not let the primer flash long enough before applying the top coat. The top coat comes right off with a razor blade, the top coat didn’t chemically bond to the primer

The 75 series cab chassis body is the best of the lot to rebuild.

Finally some more progress. The shop promises to be done this Monday. Found lots of bondo and non-compatible paints and primers.

no, especially since I don't have those fancy rubber thingy's on the hood to support the windshield. Summer is too short around here anyway
