Thank you for your comments! beavf16 posted pictures from his AJIK spare tire carrier install, using the a "blank" hitch plate, which mounts to the 4 OEM holes in the stock cross member, there is minor modification required (drilling 2 holes) for an offset mounting bracket to help clear the bumperette.
 
So what must we do if we have an LX for this to fit? Dont know if this has been addressed.
 
You would need to custom remove the cladding to reveal the 4 OEM pintle hook holes or remove cladding and use LC bumperettes and aluminum step plate.

We have a customer out of St.louis , MO that requested for us to install the carrier in his LX. I will have a better answer for this question once installed. Pictures to follow.

Hey Josh nice job on the Carrier, in case I would decide to order one would it be possible that you make the tire attachment/tire tilted by 5 deg or so towards the rear upper gate/window area? Also do you have any discounts for MUD members or do you expect any sales in near future. Thanks.

Thank you for your kind words, and for your reply. We are going into fabrication on a new batch of carriers, if you would like us to re-position the tire carrier toward the upper hatch as noted that should not be an issue.
