Tangential question: is your garage door a traditional door that rides on a track overhead or is it one of the doors that winds up into a drum?

They are roll up doors.

Be careful what you ask for, I have a 62 that I bought for myself that I am now wanting to build out and sell to fund a hot rod RestoMod for myself. Already have an 80 roller to go under it.

You and me both. my uncle Bud had one of them when I was a kid in the 60s. His was a hard top. They come up once in a while at the GAA auctions we attend.

It is a standard automotive base coat. Added a bit of hardener to give it a little sheen. No clear coat.
