Seth, NICE 80 for sure! These trucks in the condition of yours are getting harder and harder to come by, I agree on your pricing! I sold one years ago that was pretty special and miss it, are there plans for it's replacement?

Thank you for recognizing what the truck truly is, I can't agree more , it is sooo hard to find a 80 series that is not completely roached out, most of the ones I have seen over the years are rusted, beat to death, used up or so gross on the inside I would not even want to sit in it them. Not that I am too good but come on folks, grime and baked on dirt and sweat make me just squirm, yuk.

It is also very hard to find a truck that has had the care and perfect maintenance performed that I have done for the last 11 years, I went beyond Toyota's recommended service intervals, I know I am a sick man, ( i think cleaning door jams with a tooth brush and changing fluids just for fun qualifies me for professional help) I just have always really had passion for Land Cruisers and wanted to have a kick but piece of rolling art that I can be proud of :)

Some one stopped me at a gas station the other day and thought it was a 2013, they asked where they could get one, I told them it was a 96 and they about passed out, I just laughed to myself as I know I am a sickooo :)

I too will be sad to see it go as you have been since you sold yours, its probably a big mistake.

If I were a rich man... Very nice rig, probably the most complete build I have seen on an 80. If i took a 2nd mortgage on the house tho the wifey would definitely leave me...
 
i saw one sell on ebay last year for $46k buy it now . it had a custom paint job and LS1 with a 4 inch lift and armor , custom interior and nothing else really . this truck looks light years ahead of that one.
if it had the LS1 it might even get more ! hint hint..
 
If factory is 14mpg, modded is 12mpg, and supercharged and loaded like a Mexican drug mule was 9 mpg.......................is that potentially a game changer?

Great Dane, Doberman, Poodle, Yorkie or Chihuahua................regardless, if you step in it you still have dog sh!t on your shoe.

Consider a trade for project 4Mogger? At least you will know that I have spent more money on mine! About 400 miles since completion. Recent pics available. Perfect condition.
 
Is this the 4Mogger from pirate with the 4runner on U1300 axles? Could you start a thread on Mud and put up some pics of your 4runner? That was a very interesting project to me 3 or 4 years ago.

Just to let you know how soft the market is. A couple weeks ago there was a 1996 cruiser locked and lifted with stage 3 armor installed. Bullet proof glass, doors, floor boards, the works. Truck had less than 50k documented miles if I remember correctly. Most plating jobs like that cost excess of 120k. He was asking $22k, highest bidder on eBay was 9k. So what I am trying to say is good luck.
