I am sure it works, but he could just as easily provide the adapter fittings and a hose discussed above or something similar. His solution introduces unnecessary complexity and more potential failure points IMO, but to each their own I guess.
There is a lot of small time consuming things involved in this swap, especially if you are doing an NV4500. 3-4 days would be impressive, but unrealistic I think.I hope next week I'll be doing my own swap I've got everything in place just waiting for my kid's to finish school so I have free time, I am shooting for a 3-4 day deal let's see if it happens

I have never had good luck getting him on the phone, but he usually responds to my emails if they are short questions.Anyone have a new number for Dustin? the numbers I have are all disconnected now...worrysome.
TRICK ONE: know where diesel adapters is located and take something as ransom to insure delivery in a timely manor. did you order a your kit a year ago? because most of the recent reports are that he's taking about that long to fill orders...

No time for pics and a build thread if you're doing a Cummins/NV4500 swap in 3 days! No time for sleep either.![]()
Don't want to be rude, but can you guys move this discussion into the vendor forum? I would like to keep this thread focused on my build.
Mine has the relocation bracket. It brings the fan down and to the passenger side so if you are running the mechanical fan it is closer to the stock toyota position...
With the fan pulley relocation bracket, can you run a Toyota OEM radiator fan shroud with the Dodge fan?
What fan and shroud combo is supposed to be used with the relocation bracket?
You use the Dodge fan with the relocation bracket, the Toyota shroud does not work with it, I am running without a shroud.
Are you running the OEM Toyota radiator? Do you have any clearance issues with the fan hitting the bypass nipple at the top of the radiator?

I’ve read that the earlier ‘89 Dodge fans are smaller. Maybe they don’t hit the nipple?
Builds - Dirty Koala Build - Cummins 6BT + NV4500 + HF2AV Swap
You cut that nipple off and plug the hole, it is not used.
