I was looking at these too. Interested to see how you like it and how it works. Curious, does it have a speedometer cable input or is it only off of VSS or GPS?
It actually does come with a mechanical speedo input adapter.

Interestingly, the instructions state that you MUST use their provided oil pressure and coolant temperature sensors or the gauge cluster may malfunction. I didn't realize that before buying and it's kind of annoying since I expected to just pick up coolant temp from the OBD II module...just one more thing to hard wire, I guess.

Personally I would want the volts, oil, and coolant temp to be a digital readout rather than a gauge if im going with a aftermarket cluster.
I completely agree. The voltage shouldn't be an issue and I thought the coolant temp wouldn't be either until now. Apparently though, GM ECMs don't broadcast oil pressure via OBDII CAN BUS even though the computer clearly has the data available. It's somehow "proprietary" information?

The cluster is a high quality unit but I'm starting to question the benefits if the only real plug and play readings are voltage, speed and tachometer.

EDIT: I see now that you simply meant digital vs analog display but I'll leave this comment because I think it's useful to others thinking about this swap.

I hadn't realized the oil pressure wasn't broadcast, interesting. My first time dealing with a Gen 4 , familiar with Gen 3. I guess end of the day it's no different than trying to make the stock gauges work. Digital readouts would be nice but that doesn't fit in with the aesthetic of matching the stock look. Aren't there some readouts of various alerts or ? displayed too? Plus, you can change the color 🤣

There are a couple of small digital display centers but I'm not sure how exactly they can be formatted. My guess is that they're pretty user configurable but I haven't gotten that far yet.

Most expensive gauge color change ever. Haha

I’m getting oil pressure with scan gauge and e38 ecm

I "think" the RTX cluster itself needs its own sensors for oil pressure, temp, voltage, etc. With the BIM osb/can module it will be able to read various PIMs off the ECU. It seems to be geared mainly towards GM

Oh, that's reassuring. Thanks. Yeah, I need to dive into this a little further with the E92.
Also been meaning to dig into this. I can monitor oil pressure via HP Tuners log on my E92 so obviously the data is there and being broadcast somehow. Just haven’t figured out what the PID is.
