For the guys who have “finished”. I had Torfab connect my AC a couple months back. Not sure if I had a leak or if they didn’t fully charge.

Does anyone have details on how much Freon we should be putting in? 6.0 l96 with. 6l90. One pick is before AC is kicked on. Both sides around 48-52psi. Once it’s on…this feels like we are low on Freon.

For 134a, This is low for sure (but my guess is you probably has a slow leak somewhere. Add dye, but for your own sake, don’t add a leak sealant).

At rest, on a cold system, pressures should be equal and roughly equivalent to ambient temp. 70* should roughly be 70psi.

As for how much your system takes, just use a 134a pressure chart and fill it based off that. Dialing in the pressures will almost certainly get a higher performing system than just going off weight.

Hey guys
I've just ordered new engine mounts for my ly6 swap and was wondering about the mount for my transmission! It's a built 4l70e, does it need a mount or is the Toyota transfer case mounted?
Thanks!!

If you are using the AA adapter the isolator mounts to the adapter.

Anyone try the Holley's 302-4 off road oil pan? It has an off-road baffle kit and an armor kit as options. I am currently using a 302-1 knock off, but the baffle kit of the 302-4 looks interesting.

Does it have more clearance on the side for the drive shaft? Side profile looks to be smaller than the muscle car pan.

I didn't even think of that, but it does appear to have extra clearance for a front passenger-side driveshaft.

You can see the extra clearance in the last pic.

I used a cheap 302-2

I used the 302-2 which I had to modify the windage tray! Did your windage tray fit your 302-1 pan ok?

No, I used the stock windage tray that came with my 2020 L96. No modification needed.

What about the tie rod clearance?
Plenty.

The biggest issue is clearance to the A/C compressor and the top of the diff. It is close, but doesn't hit.

My engine is 1/2" further to the passenger side, and 1.25" closer to the front than where Marks 4WD puts it.

Edited to add, I also have DeltaVS 3" Extended Radius arms, which moves the front axle forward, which helps with relay rod clearance.

Went for a ride without the hood to make sure there is no heat bubble, now I know the reason she will run hot on the interstate isn't because of that. When I got on interstate it did fine till I hit 70 mph, then the fans kicked off and temps started to rise. The fans wouldn't kick back on till I slowed way down and when they do it cools down quickly. I don't think it should need the fans at 70 but maybe it does. I am leaning towards it being either too lean or the timing is off or both as to why I can't keep it cool on the interstate. I'm getting closer to getting her dialed in but I see why people get discouraged and sell the rigs before they are finished. Tuner is coming this week to work on the tune, so I hurry up and wait.

Those of you with electric fans, do they run when you are on the interstate?
