I may not be 100% innocent.Sorry. That wasn't how I meant it.
I meant if you just base a build off the parts you have laying around it can take the level of your project down. That's what I meant by "found art project".

I misunderstood when you said switches. I have replaced mine with the cheaper Tacoma sensors, as for the T case motor I had probably better do the same before I put my trans in tomorrow morning. thank you for the replyI had to replace the lock position switches that are on the diffs and t-case. I believe they are notorious for failing over time. If you look for a Land cruiser one they are expensive but for toyota parts, they also cross reference to a tacoma part for cheap. I did not get a rebuild kit for the t-case motor, I had to just open it up and clean it and "sand" resurface the armature and stator contacts and re-grease. Good as new.
We’ll defineu out power to the motor and all before you install to verify it works.I misunderstood when you said switches. Just want to bump my DD tach box question. Anyone do a new one lately with the blue tooth? Just curious what wore you used for the input to the dash. I’ve tried two so far. From the igniter plug and from a splice near the glove box. No luck so far.
everything worked when it was pulled a few months ago, I'm not super worried about the CDL. was more of a while I'm there thing. We’ll defineu out power to the motor and all before you install to verify it works.
Good heat reflection/insulation in tunnel and area around it.Anything you wished you had done while you had the motor out? View attachment 3361434

I'll elaborate... lizard skin ceramic coating inside and out on fire wall and entire engine bay. Inside pretty much the whole interior first layer 120 mil sound deadner from down4sound shoo. Com no affiliation second layer 320 mil sound deadner witch is actually 2 layers in itself another 120mil and 200mil closed cell foam all in all 440mil sound deadner plus the lizard skin ceramic coating on fire wall . Still need to do the transmission tunnel but have to fabricate the trans tunnel for manual transmission shifter and tcase shifter.
Might be a bad unit you got. I used the wire off of the back of the cluster at the tachJust want to bump my DD tach box question. Anyone do a new one lately with the blue tooth? There are a lot of variables here. Can someone please help me with info. The LS is is in, took it for a test drive, but the 4h, 4L is not working. The vehicle runs good on 4L, which it should not. It should Tun good on Highway on 3h. It seems like something is back wards. And also, the. Enter lock switch does not come on when pressed. Is there some wire harness that needs to be connected from old stock transmission harness, or a sensor. It’s a 92 FJ80. With stick transmission, it ran great on 4H and 4 L was for climbing or low torque. What am I missing? I put a 5.3 with a 4l60e trans bolted yo the advance kit yo original stock transfer case.
