Everyone has different setups so I wouldn't try to replicate anyones build wire for wire. I used stock fuel system wiring. Essentially, the circuit open relay acts like a normal fuel pump relay. The actual fuel pump relay only changes the relative speed of the fuel pump. You can either take out both the circuit open relay and the fuel pump relays or reverse the polarities of the relays so it defaults to the wire without the resistor.

You don't need the Toyota ECU, you can use the E7 plug but it isn't necessary since most circuits are available from IH1/IH2.
Honestly there is no replacement for reading the factory wiring diagram. I'd recommend just searching the PDF for the functions you are trying to wire. Wiring is different in the earlier 80's so make sure you are using a wiring diagram from your model year.
