Is your suspension all Dobinson? How are those IMS shocks? I have OME springs but need to figure out a different shock absorber option, and an option that will fit with the U-bolt flip kit I have.Slipped out of work early to install the new tie rod end kit I grabbed from @cruisermatt.
Finally checked that little task off the list.

Yep. Full kit. I have no complaints. Solid as ever. The IMS shocks are beefy. I recommend. Is your suspension all Dobinson? How are those IMS shocks? I have OME springs but need to figure out a different shock absorber option, and an option that will fit with the U-bolt flip kit I have.
edit: D'oh just read the very first post in your thread, all Dobi set up.
I’d recommend measuring to see what length shocks you actually need, the Dobinsons IMS rears supplied in the kit were 3” too long for me (w 4+ flip kit installed). Not really a problem for most street use but no good for offroad. Is your suspension all Dobinson? How are those IMS shocks? Really? How does the flip kit affect your ride height?I’d recommend measuring to see what length shocks you actually need, the Dobinsons IMS rears supplied in the kit were 3” too long for me (w 4+ flip kit installed). Not really a problem for most street use but no good for offroad.
It doesn’t affect the ride height, but the flip kit lower shock mount is about 1” higher than the factory plate, so the shock mount eye to eye distance is essentially 1” shorter. On my truck, the IMS only allowed about 2” of uptravel before the shocks bottomed out.Really? How does the flip kit affect your ride height?
Interesting. I’ve never heard that specs were different on the flip kits.
