Now that pennies will no longer be minted. Does anyone know of any delete blanks for the coin slots?

I think they are the same size as factory switches but don't quote me on that. I haven't tried them out. It think thought that it is a common spot for heated seat switch installations.

Thanks for the ideas. I have some blanks and just wanted to see some other uses for the coin slots.
I have 318K on my ‘97 and never once put a coin in those little holders!

Who has?

search 55539-20020 and you'll get all the Toyota switch cover variants:

Here are some switch inserts. I’ll be installing mine next weekend.

Since you mentioned seat heaters, where did you wire yours in. I have a plethora of placed to wire in for 12V. But where is the sweet spot that is most commonly used?
I hate an incomplete hijack...
» if you have an 80 series with factory leather interior, you'll find two unused connector housings in the right and left body harnesses, under the console, immediately below the forwardmost coin slots. Both connector housings mate with the respective OEM seat switches, designed for those coin slots.
» if you have an 80 series with factory cloth interior, you'll find one unused connector housing in the left side body harness, under the console, immediately below the forwardmost coin slots; the passenger seat just doesn't get any love.

Oddly enough, there are power seat connectors below both seats, regardless of which interior you got from Toyota.

I haven't checked, because I don't have one to play with, but rumor has it the LX450 doesn't have factory connectors wired into the body harness, either the dash harness or the RH/LH body harnesses. Odd.
