I was just out here looking at everything and making a list of a few items I need to order and it dawned on me that the parking brake is going to need some mechanism to make it operate. Like maybe a cable.

It made me smile. I am pretty sure I know where that cable is at the house. I'm guessing that's about a one  mistake.

When it looks as good as yours does, is a cable really necessary? I'm pretty sure it might just be a detail at that point. :)

Fabulous job so far on the resto  FYI, I'd disassemble the parking brake assy cuz you won't be able to get those bottom 2 bolts in the speedo housing, I've tried a few times  The lever arm gets in the way no matter how you try & clock the brake shoes. You'll need to attach the cable to the arm, bolt up the backing plate, then reassemble the shoes & springs. Your sheetmetal work looks top notch! :D

Finally getting around to downloading some pics from my camera this morning.

These are all pretty self explanatory. Just a whole bunch of tedious sheet metal work. The cab is finally starting to look pretty good to me. I only have a few more trouble spots to fix.

Awesome work!!

From my perspective (about to start the disassembly) it looks like you are done. I'll be hard pressed to finish with that nice of a product.
Thanks for the thread/ manual!!

Can't wait to see the rest:clap:

I've sort of gotten out of the picture taking mode on every single step along the way on this project. Here are a bunch of pics of my progress over the last couple of months.

I've made a lot of progress on the mechanical stuff. If I could ever finish the cab repairs, I'll get this thing back on the road again someday.
