Reproduction door straps made it up the mountain this afternoon. I "fiddled" with it for a while. This configuration may or may not be exactly correct but IMHO it looks the "cleanest" of all my trials and machinations.

Changes in latitude(s). It’s been a day or two since I posted. Lots of moving parts.

The lake house is no more. Final closing Aug 31. Spent Most of July/Aug moving ops back to the MOV and the all to familiar confines of the rented storage bld. I guess we’ve come full circle. I have hardly looked at the Mule since it came home from the Vet all resplendent in it’s diamond plate sporting a new muffler . Still barred from the Barbie Garage at this point. I expect no quarter will be given in that ongoing struggle, but I did manage to fill one of the bays with a sizable stack of boxes, totes, bags and trunks. It’s the small victories…..

Current plan for the Mule is in the war gaming phase. planning to add a new OE Rad, oil pan, knuckle rebuild and various and sundry related tasks. If things work out, the Mule is going to hunt this season.

Going to miss the tranquility and landscape at the lake but it was necessary. May be a month or two before I get sorted out. I did learn something from the move. I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

Made the last trek down out of mountains Thursday. I’ve lived there off and on since 2016 and worked there off and on since the early 90’s…Going to be full time flatlander in the MOV now.

Checked on the Mule. It’s still there. @Jdc1 said it “looked like a barn find”. I think it looks like it belongs in a barn.

Getting a little crowded in the storage bld. Hoping to hit the easy button again as I dig out from the move and prep for the fall season.

Open diff master kits, knuckle kit and r/wheel bearings all inbound.

The Mule will hunt this season…!!! Well, I mostly hunt, the Mule usually stays back close to the fire.
