Yes, it appears from my shade tree operation and a HF digital caliper that they are the same. So I am using a 60 series hub and spindle. I am doing this "because we have a really good set of matched tires on it. These tires are matched perfect and staggered special."
"Rubbing is racing!"

Pulled the transfer case and the transmission. Does this help in identifying what it is?

Your fuel tank looks way better than mine. Mine didn’t come with the skid plate either. Probably why it has a big dent in the bottom.

Finishing the teardown of engine number two, fuel injected from LX 450, that we know the bottom end was making a terrible racket. Found some interesting things.... these are the timing marks on the intake and exhaust camshaft, they should line up perfectly . @NLXTACY Is the 1Fz a interference style motor? Is one tooth off going to cause the exhaust or intake valve to hit the piston?

Then found this, clearly number one piston was hitting the head

Here’s what they should look like

Other random pics....

Found where the alignment pin that I found a few days ago goes on the water pump

As I was working today, I noticed that the original engine in the 75 had a little restriction right off the exhaust manifold

Look how clean the head is on this number two engine

I was surprised how shoehorned that fuel tank is between the frame rails. Only reason I pulled it, was that it has a fuel leak. Will drain it, pressurize it, and see how to repair it best

That’s on my long list as well. I opened it up and saw several fixes that were not noticeable on the outside.

Did some parts searching and it looks like semi float Dana 60 parts are not the same as full float, which makes sense with the c clip, so looking to see where I can find a carrier/pin/spiders that would be the same.

Found this set for a 90's e250 ford van, so reached out to that company to see if they can help me determine what to put in there. @BILT4ME was talking to me about putting a locker in there at the same time. Lunchbox style locker. Seems to make sense to do it. @cjmoon any advice?

Another shop that MAY have the parts you need for the D60 on hand is 4X4Land in south Topeka. Mike Starkebaum is the owner. 785-862-8008. He has done a bit of work for me and it was excellent. They do Jeep conversions adn rebuilds all the time as well as building crawlers. He has inventory of all sorts of Dodge, Ford, GM D60's. He knows them inside and out.

I think I figured out where the leftover carrier I have is located. I will dig it out tonight and see if it will do you any good. It is a full-float out of a 71 Chevy C20 2WD pickup D60

Your axle is 35spline? I’d recommend a Detroit. Ran one in my Jeep with ARB front. Great set up. Wheeled hard rear always worked well. If your happy with the carrier you have. that might be a good way to replace the spiders.

Carrier is pretty damaged, so would preferred to replace it also.

Comparing the heads, I think the only differences are of the fuel pump hole in the om
Emissions hole The exhaust holes look different because one is dirty , but I Measured and they are the same

The crankshaft appear to be the same, with the exception of the pilot bearing in the rear of the 75 series crank. This is the new were with the crank position sensor

New parts finally going on.... bought new backer plates for the rear drum brakes and also put new tire rod ends on the front, and got two of the four U joints completed. Got the wrong parts for the rear driveshaft, so trying to figure out what you joints to purchase, they have markings 352 on the originals.

Been busy working on making a bumper for my sons 85 series pick up truck, so not a ton of progress this weekend. Also helped a friend put an exhaust on his 80 series....

Almost forgot, got two boxes on Friday. Thanks @c2dfj45 @joekatana.

I threw the knuckle in the parts washer and it came out looking great. Pulled the studs and it is ready for sandblast.

If you are keeping the 1FZ H150/1 I might have another treat for you , found a new OEM clutch and pressure plate in the shop that I believe to be for a 1FZ with 5 speed . NIB so I can check the pn's on them.
