Nothing says bonner like going into your buddy's shop and telling him your close to complete and need to get a fuel pump and he reaches over to the shelf and hands you a box. After blowing the dust off its a new factory Toyota fuel pump! This was still in the bag with the reciept from 1980.The cost was $65.20 expensive! Some things never change. Check out the install instructions, Im pretty sure the bottom line says Toyota Manufacturing thanks for yen round eye!

Gonzo,

That really is some beautiful paint . You and your Son, have done a great job on it.

Thanks Scapdaddy, my son said today as we were working on it that "this truck is better than store bought because they don't have memory's of building it with your dad". I would urge any mudder to involve their young ones to participate in the project. They will take the memories with them through life. If you don't have any small ones , grab a nieborhood kid you may make a difference.

Gonzo,

You got that right. My Son still talks about the late Summer nights getting our 40 ready for camping trips. He's turned out to be a great shop partner!

Keep up the good work, Ron

I believe both of those numbers are for Scout PS boxes. One is 30 spline, the other is 36 spline.

I don't think I've shopped for a FJ60 box

Is that a saginaw steering box? That is my next project! I had planned to use a 60 box. I am wondering why you used that one verses a 60 box. Is the difference like beeing able to turn the wheel with one finger verses four?

Those dash deals are from SOR? They look hot!!! Fun to find that waiting for you.

Gonzo,

What's the story on your dash pads. Did someone restore them. They look new, Nice!

They are new, SOR has a few left and I'm not sure if they are going to re-run them. The package that they came in was on the self for a while. They are complete pads not covers and excellent fit and quality. If your thinking about some I would jump on it now. The 2 were about $150
