no latch, they are kind of spring loaded on the hinge. the knob is just a handle with screws that thread into it.

in the first pic, you can see where they fail

Hey Gonzo, I'm pretty sure I don't have that handle part (I'll still look for you).

I'm pretty sure we just grabbed the flap and pulled it down. I have a '71 and I noticed SOR had 72+ on those pictures. ???

I think I will stick to this side of mud, I ventured off over into chit chat and commented on my frustration with our great world leader taking an extra $200 out of my check and the next thing you know I got a penalty point from Woody and my comment taken down. Must be a Colorado thing eh?

I learned to steer clear of there a while ago, haven't been back in years . We're a bit more laid back crowd down here ...

why a colorado thing? woody doesn't live here...he lives in wisconsin. but there are no political comments allowed in chat. they're only allowed in the political section. chat was turning into an even bigger nightmare.
