Hmmm seems there doing that in Aus too, Mines dont like passengers sitting sideways like in the Troopys anymore, and forward facing means they can do away with lap belts. Although you cant see much out the windows when your sitting in the back.

Saudi gets the double cab 79 in the 1GR petrol engine from the dealer, and the diesel 1HZ can be brought in on special request, or through exporters in Dubai. (plenty can be seen on the net for sale from those exporters in the UAE)

Now it looks like South Africa will be the first market outside of Aus/NZ to get the V8 diesel, despite different diesel (read poorer) fuel quality in RSA than in Aus/NZ......This can only be good news for the rest of us as it means one day, just one day, they'll make the V8 for LHD markets:bounce:

I drove past a truck car carrier today haluing 4 or so std new 79 Utes and a std 79 duel cab ,the dual cab had a factory bed on it which surprised me, so maybe there is hope for the dualcab bed option in Aus.
Unless it was a lhd hzj79 duelcab which some mines have been importing.
