Cans are the way to go for me anytime I'm camping. More space efficient, nothing to break, crumbles to nothing in a fire pit... etc.

Got my full size spare yesterday, CB powered up and ready to tune tomorrow, sleeper/storage platform installed, oil change tonight or tomorrow, my wife is figuring out a camp meal to share and I'm deciding on beer. Cool weather and stunning views are only a few days away!

Stan and I are rolling out at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning from Denver to start the drive to Silverton if anyone wants to join us...would love to have you along. A little light wheeling, fly-fishing, and a cold-hoppy beverage at the end of the day is the plan for tomorrow.

I just spoke to a knowledgable beer store in Knoxville, TN and the lady there said he Georgia Brown won't be available for about another month since is a seasonal.

I would risk dragging it before leaving it behind. I've helped change flats 2 of the 3 years I've been.

I've been in situations where having the spare down there has been more of an advantage than a disadvantage. Honestly, I wouldn't hit a trail without a spare...for very many obvious reasons.

We're going to have our spare 295/70/18 underneath the truck because I'm waiting on a dissent bumper. I drag that thing everywhere when wheeling. I'm wondering if its cool to leave it at the campground while we wheel. I'd hate to get a flat and have to have someone make the trek back to get it for me, but it also limits my abilities since it hangs so low.

What do you guys think?

You need one of these

The good news is my neighbor just finished doing some wet sanding for me. I would not want to show off my rig to you guys with swirls.

@paflytyer is going to have some competition now. I thought he had the shiniest Hundy in NA. This one may take the cake...make sure you drive through only good weather on your way to HIH!
