5 hours later and all the shirts and hoodies are bagged and back in boxes ready to transport. I may get 6 mpg on the way up. Haha.

I can't wait to try it on!

Chris literally worked all day on the shirts and I'm working most of the night on something else..... kind of a surprise so I don't want to spoil it with a pic. It's pretty rad though.

Don't want to jinx it, but @dubitup's prayers to eight pound, six ounce Baby Jesus may have done some good....... weather is looking better. I would expect some rain though. It's HIH after all, it wouldn't be right without a little rain. The area has gotten slammed for the last few days with some very heavy storms. There have been mud slides on some of the roads and trails. Safety will be priority one for us all weekend and we will plan accordingly, but we expect no issues at all.

I have another thread going, but we finished the water tank install just in time and i wanted to get the pictures up. We left 5am yesterday and made it to angelfire and i was able to get these pics this morning.

Lexus is jealous it's not going on an epic road trip in 40 hours...

We're going to have our spare 295/70/18 underneath the truck because I'm waiting on a dissent bumper. I drag that thing everywhere when wheeling. I'm wondering if its cool to leave it at the campground while we wheel. I'd hate to get a flat and have to have someone make the trek back to get it for me, but it also limits my abilities since it hangs so low.

What do you guys think?

No roof rack to throw it on?

That would work. But depending on the trail, there aren't too many spots where you'll touch down in the rear.

The bigger problem would be if we were on a shelf road and you got a flat. There are very few places to turn around, so the trail could be locked up for hours while someone made their way back to camp to get your spare. You're less likely to hang up on the rear tire than you are to get a flat. Flats happen every year.

Strap it on the roof?

We'll keep it underneath if you guys think it won't be an issue. I just know when I wheel around here, it's constantly holding me up. But If the trails aren't that bad, we should be good.

I would risk dragging it before leaving it behind. I've helped change flats 2 of the 3 years I've been.
Agreed. I hit mine when it was under the bumper once, not a big deal.

Is there room with your dogs to lay it in the back and strap it down using the 3rd row anchor points and a ratchet strap? I carry mine that way sometimes because it won't fit under the truck and it's a pain getting 105lbs of wheel/tire onto the roof alone.

Mom stopped over to say 'goodbye'. The GX is growing on me, I may need to buy that off her when she's done with it.

Is there anyone in the southeastern US that would be willing to grab a 6 or 12 pack of Sweet Water Brown from Sweet Water Brewing in ATL? I will gladly repay you upon arrival!

I'm not even sure if it's available outside of Atlanta??? I was hoping it could be purchased all over the southeast.
