We've been on the road for over a week already and looking forward to the lower temps high up in Silverton!
Had no phone signal at all throughout most of Idaho coming from Craters of the Moon State Park and the whole time in Yellowstone. For the record it really sucks to find coffee in Idaho!
We camped for 3 nights at Canyon Campground on the north side then another 2 at Grant Village campground right by Yellowstone Lake finishing with our last night at the Old Faithful Lodge. We left this morning passing through the Tetons then a huge Forrest fire to the west of it! Roads were open but the crews were there fighting it!
We are heading down to Fort Collins right now and should be there in about a couple hours.

@paflytyer is going to have some competition now. I thought he had the shiniest Hundy in NA. This one may take the cake...make sure you drive through only good weather on your way to HIH!

My truck hasn't glistened like that since the first trail we ran together years ago. I blame you.

Tim @nakman , would you be able to bring me 2 sets of the awning receivers for payment in Silverton? I know I should've asked about it before!

Welcome! Are you camping in Fort Collins? If so, where at?
Thanks! I'm not camping here! Hotel night to rest up, wash up(at least better than at Yellowstone), do laundry tomorrow and visit Odell brewery. We are all pretty tired but having fun! 3 small people on the back seat makes traveling a hard job! Today was a long day on the pavement and this is going down right now!

I heard a friend saying before and I'm stealing it! TRAVEL FAR, DRINK LOCAL!

And with that, I challenge any of you to bring more pot than I have!

Two things...... This is Colorado, pot jokes are forbidden. And @ntsaint is bringing what looks like a 55 gallon drum for boiling something. I'd like to turn them both over and play the steel drums.
