Looks like a similar build to mine with a different power plant. What steering column did you end up using? What length? I will be ordering those parts soon. and attaching them in the same way you did. Thank you.

What radiator, fan and intercooler are you using???
Also I noticed on Flicker that you have this R2.8 truck at a show. is yours running???
If so, how is yours performing and is the radiator your using keeping it cool enough??? I’m in Texas and heat can be a big problem with 102 degree summers.
Thanks Leon

I see you went with canton racing products for your coolant reservoir. What size did you buy? You were using another company on your last build weren’t you for these essential bling items?

Also interested in your radiator and condenser setup, what companies are they from?

Hello! Wow it's looking beautiful. If you don't mind me asking, how much would you sell something like this for once completed? Or are you planning on keeping it?

Thanks!

yes, I am planning on selling both eventually, one will go right away to the person that wants one of the two
if anyone is interested please PM me
Cheers
Steve

Sorry guys, catching up here as Ive been away
I will answer all your questions in the next day day or so

Cheers
Steve

Steve, you seem to have yours up and running, so you have all the needed hardware installed (ie. fuel filter, oil filter, ECM, etc). Your information can save all of us a lot of time & grief. I have a couple of other questions. Did you center your engine in the frame or is it offset to one side. Also do you have any measurements that you kept from the install (centerline of your fabbed mounts from front of frame or shock tower, height of engine mounts above frame, etc.) I am trying to use same radiator, intercooler and hardware because yours obviously has enough clearance and is working. I'm using the H55 instead of the NV4500 and the Quickdraw Adapter which I'm hoping gives me added length to the rear drive shaft. Anyway your answers can help a lot.
Thanks Leon

Hey Steve,
I've got a few questions:
- Where did you get your rear gas tank? Does it have an internal fuel pump?
- What power steering box are you using? Did it come in a kit?
Thanks!

Ok guys, radiator setup is the Flex-a-Lite -51160R with the matching fully controllable fan
see pics below guys

Amico ... I am going to get back to you on those questions, some are extremely important and I want to talk to my mechanic to answer accurately

Arther ... I got the rear tank from Tojo products (Jim) , great tank but no internal pump. With the diesel R2.8 you do not require either an internal or external pump.

I went with the more expensive 80' series conversion ... again expensive but unbelievably good. I used the same system on my Grey 73' and it works so very well.

how deep is the radiator from the front of the intercooler to the fan engine side? any modifications needed to get it in behind the grille?

No, Frank the R2.8 is short enough to fit everything in, BUT you do need to fabricate a mounting plate that we attached to the original Rad mounting tabs because the assembly is pushed back beyond the length of those tabs.

Gorgeous rig you have there. How does she perform off road? And mileage on pavement?

Guys ... we still need to get some work done on this truck, but as soon as we get her started and driving you guys will be the 1st to know. I will provide tons of feedback on the drivability and this wicked engine

Steve
