Thanks again for your responses Steve. I just got my FJ80 steering box in (I'm just gunna keep copying you haha).
What kind of pitman arm did you end up using? Did you have to buy a new tie rod?

Amazing Build! I really admire your attention to detail. Bravo!

I'm underway on almost the exact same build for a customer, I'm going to get a thread going one of these days. Are you aware that there's a direct R2.8 to NV4500 bellhousing available from Quickdraw?

2.8 R to NV4500 ADAPTER KIT WITH MODIFIED FACTORY FLYWHEEL (Fits CUMMINS 2.8 ) | QuickDrawBrand.com

I just got all my parts in last week, picking up the transmission tomorrow and then the fitting begins.

Oh crap !! That would have been nice, im already in deep with Axis and Advance Adapters ... too late for me but for others this will make it less expensive and cleaner !

Thanks
Steve

Did you end up going with the QuickDraw bellhousing?

Are you satisfied with the overall length of the drivetrain package with the QD bellhousing, NV4500, AA extension, and split case?

I'm Back !!
Ok ... so its been some time since I've updated here . I had some personal issues (separation) and well it's time to get back on track
We are just weeks away from completing this project, and here are just a few teaser pics to get started again ...

Yessir ... full stop at 200 pounds of pressure
Steve
Any chance you can provide more information on that linear actuator and TSM e-Brake. I have a TSM e-brake on my 40 with 37's and 4.88's with 60 split case and the thing barely works even after extensive adjustments to gain everything possible. I'm using the stock FJ40 78' parking brake handle to actuate it.

Spoke with Rex and he mentioned you did a 4" backspacing on these. Is that right? I want to order the same thing you did for my 75' build, but need the details in order to make it all come together. Would you happen to have the breakdown on what exactly you ordered? Did you buy a new set of caps and just ship them to him?

Yessir ... they are perfectly offset at that 4"
They do a GREAT job, you will not be disappointed

Cheers
