I've been hard on canoes, these are two Dagger Legends that I use for field work. The green one is about 25 years old and has suffered a lot. The hull has been multi-patched over the years . Haven't used it in a couple of years and pulled it out a few weeks ago to see that the hull was in need of some attention. A roll of Gorilla Tape did the job along with whipping up a makeshift seat since the webbing was blown out. Held up for the day and a 10 mile float .

i have a esquif and swift boat. the swift was my wife’s 40th birthday present. it’s such a nice boat. hope to get them out again this week for a paddle. the 12 foot aluminum is great for fishing little lakes with my kids. i love being out on the water

The green one looks well used, I’ve got something not quite that beat, but close.

I noticed your blue dagger is rubbed through the vinyl (blue) and down to the ABS (tan) in areas. In case you don’t know - get some LEGO - blue if you’re looking for colour match, toss it in a glass jar with a bit of acetone. The LEGO dissolves into a goo you can brush on over the abs. Once the acetone flashes off, you can sand the LEGO repair smooth.

Wear in the vinyl isn’t really an issue, but you want to limit the ABS exposure to UV.
