Returning a borrowed canoe to friend this afternoon so I got a rare fall picture with this combination.
I just wish my good set of wheels were on. The white wheels look much better than the black.

First time getting the canoe wet in a while. Somewhere in Colorado. High elevation, crystal clear water, perfect weather.
I think it’s been over a year since we’ve had this on the water. I was reminded that it really needs some fiberglass repair on the keel, the teak redone on the gunwhales and decks, and the seats replaced. We tried our friends’ nice paddles and they sure are better than our cheapies, so throw a set of those in too. Oh well, it’s only another hobby that wants to suck my money.
FYI, if anybody has any more info on Klickitat canoes please message me. There’s very little on the web about these boats and I’d like to know more.
