i enjoy runnin' in sand. the closest sand i've got is silver lake dunes over in michigan n compared to your's, it's a sand box in a backyard. not the whole backyard like you gots. oh, by the way, i like the jay walker sight :hillbilly:
My fav part is drifting on sand, almost like a boat on land.
This is beginner's area (it does have crazy tough spots) but by no means is this the hard off-roading, bit by bit as I am tweaking and understanding the car more and more.

Lesson learned, 17 PSI sucks in the sand (Being stubborn even more so lol) had to deflate to 11 PSI to pull a friend out.

The Desert Nomad, hopefully we will both explore all of Egypt.

uh in case any of you guys are wanting to add backlit switches to your dashes. Heres how to wire a rear heater switch from a 1996 hi ace van or 1996 prado to work in your fj60 to run your rear heater and also have backlit illumination and the on/off indicator light. You can either do it like this or use pin 4 as a trigger for a relay to switch 12v+ to 12v- if you want to keep your factory heater wiring intact. You cant reverse polarity on this switch on pin 2 and 4 because the orange light is a LED and not incandescent

Rear wiper, rear defrost, and fog light are next.

Heres how to switch your defroster switch to the defroster switch from an 80 series or similar. You can use the conector from your 60 switch so its pretty much plug and play. I spliced in an extra wire on pins 3, 2, 1, and 4 on the 80 series side of the below image so i can daisy chain my switch backlighting together. This is kinda optional. I need to go out and test this one in the truck but on the desk with the 12v battery it all works
