While you're up in the area, Stoney Pass is worth the drive. On the road from Rio Grande Reservoir west of Creede to Cunningham Gulch, which is a few miles north of Silverton on the Animas River. A scenic 4WD back road approach to Silverton from the east.

Good to know. I will put it on th list. Talking about the Enchanted Trail next year, might make some Southern Colorado modifications before turning around.

East of Silverton is my favorite. Creede Batchelor loop and Hanson is #1 to me and nobody there
