Thank you! Originally I thought it would be a little more fun/adventurous - like we would be stopping at cool stuff and taking pictures.
She doesn't want to do any of that.
Although I am driving, so I guess I could invoke executive privilege!

Step 3: Ditch the U-Haul:
I have a 1999 3rd Gen. that I daily drive and my wife drives a 2003 with a V8, never left me stranded anywhere yet.

When I met the girl who married me, she had a house, a truck (89 SR5 4x4 Pickup), and 2 dogs (Siberian Husky and a Golden Retriever.)
I had an 85 IROC Z/28.. so I made out on that situation.
14 years later, in 2004, in the middle of leaving Spokane, WA for Honolulu, I spotted a 74 FJ40. Even though it was exactly the wrong time to buy a project, she said “yes”.
definite keeper.
Anyway, listen to your mother’s stories. Ask her all the questions you can think of. Someday, hopefully many years from now, she’ll pass, and you’ll miss hearing her voice.
