Started getting things in high build primer today.

Hood, fenders and roof panel can start to get blocked. The top needs more work. The primer at least makes it so I can see what needs to be done. It was just too much of a mess before.

Hood and fenders blocked down and 2nd coated with high build. They look good. I think they'll be ready for paint after I block down these coats.

I put the cab back and roof cap on the truck to get them out of the way. Fits very good.

Wow, amazing what time and hard work can do,I knew the top had good bones! Glad it found a good home!

The hood, bezel and left fender are ready for paint. I ended up doing another three coats of high build, then blocking that back down, then a final coat and blocked it down to 800 grit.
I found a low spot on the right fender so that got some more filler, sanded down, and more high build. I put the guide coat on before I left for the day. I'm out of high build so it will have to wait until that comes in hopefully this afternoon.

How do you like that HF paint gun? I have one but have never used it yet.

Sprayed color with it today. Nice gun. I'm no expert, but it's nicer than my other cheap guns. I'm really loving disposable cups too.

Got everything close to final coat of high build. The hood was done so I sprayed the inside of it. I don't see a problem with having the front clip all in color tomorrow.

The color is Lily White. I have a quart of Cygnus white for the top and bezel too.
