Doesn't someone here run a TPI 6 into 1 header? Bodean? I'm trying to find out if it's fabbed from stainless tubing. It looks like stainless in the photo. I've called, but they don't answer the phone and haven't replied to email.

X2. I've got a set, and there's a set on the motor that was just pulled from Jrob's truck. Both are rusting...pretty sure they are not stainless.
Nolen, you are correct Sir. Got a reply from Bob at TPI this morning. The header is sold in raw steel. They must have polished or coated the one in their photo.
I had a set of ceramic coated headers. Seven years of daily driving and no rust. Worth the extra $$$ IMO.
The header on the engine is raw steel, maybe 3 years old, and it's rusted through in several spots. I ordered a replacement from JT Outfitters. There's a guy here in town who does ceramic coating, but I don't know how much he charges for a header. The cheaper option would be high temp header paint, VHT or something similar.

Either way, I won't install it without some kind of coating. Thanks to all for the feedback.
That's what I had. By the time you buy all the pieces, it's probably $550-$600. They were nice, though. No rust and no gasket leaks. I think the two piece flange helps keep the gasket leaks away.

Or buy the TPI one, cut the flange like the MAF one and then have it ceramic coated.
The flange thickness on the MAF one was a perfect match for the intake manifold. I've heard of folks having to cut washers in half to match the thickness before with some headers.

my 40 came with ceramic coated headers - but, like all headers, they eventually cracked
so I ordered the same headers from MAF, but uncoated, given the price differential - but now I wish I'd gotten them coated: the uncoated headers run considerably hotter
indeed, I consider the coating worth it and will go for coated headers when the current one decides to crack in inaccessible places

Or, do you have the front profile instead?
