No need to say “pass” again.
But, is that $3K for the truck and $7K for the crossbars?
You can do a LOT better.

Man you guys are tough. My poor truck is worth about....nothing. A lot of the "hacks" everyone points out matter to someone who wants to go "stock resto" but not to folks who want a working cruiser. Whether or not there are two holes cut in the dash that are not stock is really not a big deal and not minus $500 to the average Joe (I know it's a joke, but still...). It's also called "character" to some of us. Like the scars and wrinkles we all get as we age. They tell stories. Some Good Stuff in the steering column hole? Who cares? Take it out if you don't like it. What is the end goal for the cruiser? I don't know that it's worth 10k....here, I'll post one far far worse from my neck of the woods. They are asking 15k.... Now that's a joke. It DOES have a pinstripe. 1978 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ40
I agree. The price of cruisers is high for junk, no one sells a cruiser for what you think it’s worth back in the day. Today there is a demand. Sadly this is one of the better I’ve seen yet.. anything under 10,000 seems to be a rolling chassis, or so full of rust. It’s getting harder to find a good base for a fixer upper, let alone a restore, unless you pay 15,000 and up..... way up....

If you some then I’m sure I’d love a drive. You may find a lot of folks are asking 10k for junk because they see other junk posted for as much. Has any of it sold for that much?... I hope not
I’ll add some positivity though - I bought my cruiser for 10k and would be scared to post it up for all to see like you have done. Holes in the fenders and floors, engine swap, none US (gasp!) ... but there are positives to every pile o junk and I wouldn’t trade it for anybody’s ‘perfect’ resto now that it’s become mine.
Is this one a 10k truck? I don’t think so, but you may be surprised what his actual price is. A year ago I was like you and scared I couldn’t get a decent runner for my budget, now I have one I take on 600 mile trips regularly. People here are critical because they are burdened by knowing too much about these trucks. Use that, but use your gut too; if you want a beater thats OK. Some folks here can’t get past the idea that not every truck has to be a resto candidate![]()
Edit: there are a few good looking trucks in the same price range up my way - a road trip from AZ up through Utah is quite nice in the fall![]()
I’m just trying to get some opinions, not step on toes or anything. It’s a fixer upper for sure. Just how much I’ll find out when I look at it.
