35's on a LC 250

It could just depend on the wheel, like certain 17" won't fit on the 200 series and others will.

Same with 3rd gen 4runners with Tundra calipers.

It's not a published specification. Two 17" wheels can have differently designed "Barrels."

I don’t see why 17s won’t fit on a 250 if they can on 300s since they have the same drivetrain. Just have to buy the right 17s. The above thread for reference.

I saw that earlier, I just wasn't sure how that would translate to the 250. I wonder if we can trust the online configurators for fitment. For instance, Method wheels lists the 703 in 0mm and 35mm offsets fitting the LX600. I have my eye on the +35mm offset model so the tires would be flush with the fenders.

I have 33” KO2s for my 200 (currently in the basement, I’ve got Michelin Defenders on the 200 now). On the factory aluminum wheels, the KO2s weigh around 65lb. They are a royal pain in my back to change — at age 60+ I’m not getting any stronger. 35” tires? Oh heck no.

35s and roof rack- right back to 11-12mpg.😂 But drop dead gorgeous Bronco looks.
Sub 15mpg would be embarrassing…shoot I’m embarrassed for current 4Runner owners that get 15mpg with some mods… I am getting 13mpg in my 8000# Ram Power Wagon on 35s, Hemi 6.4 V8 with 4.10 gears.

Assuming I get a 1958 which has the slightly smaller factory tire size… I think I’d be happy putting on E-load 33s (LT265/70R18) on the LC. 33s are still a capable size, fit without rubbing, minimal mpg penalty from weight, spare will fit, shouldn’t be a big deal to get the speedo correct, plenty of options/price is lower since it’s a common size(though still expensive compared to tires 4 years ago)

Honestly I think 37s will work with lift. I bet 35s fit with just trimming.

My GX460 has 35s and lots of other goodies (no roof rack or RTT though), and gets 16-17 mpg at 70-75 mph. It gets around 13 towing my small camper.

I definitely prefer the round headlight look.

Funny, I don't like the round headlights at all. I like how varied people's tastes are. They look out of place compared to how they look on a bronco or FJ40. Being an 80 series owner, I think the rectangle shape just appeals to me I guess.

I like both. Some photos I’ve seen I really like the rectangle ones, some I really like the round ones. I’d be getting a 1958 so it comes with the round, but hopefully it’s an easy and relatively inexpensive swap between the round and rectangular so people can swap them if they want with ease

Same. The rectangle just better matches the boxey body.

I prefer the round headlights, but I prefer the body-colored trim pieces that house the fogs. I want the 1958, so would consider picking some of those up in the future if it were an option. They kept mentioning the bumper components are modular, so I would imagine so.

Consider how popular these things will be, there should be all sorts of options available and the aftermarket will fill in whatever Toyota doesn't.

The initial issue will be timing. When the 5th Gen 4Runner was released it took a couple of years. We needed to buy something as simple as a duel battery tray from AU. Today the market is drowning in all sorts of options from all sorts of vendors.

There are many downsides to the current ‘everyone is an off roader’ trend but the positive is the availability of everything from everybody. Round headlights with pink eyelashes are just a matter of time.
