My front drivers side window has been acting up. Sometimes it only goes about 1/2 way down when the button is pushed and now it has started "shuttering" about the 1/2 way point and may, or may not go all the way down. Luckily, I have about 1K miles on my warranty.

Something happened today during a 100 mile trip to my son's ski race. I now have the most incessant rattle happening in passenger headliner or dash. I can't pinpoint it but it's 10x worse than the sunroof one ive had for a long time.

I might go nuts.

Check for leaves stuck near the windshield under the hood.

i checked for leaves and found a few along with some pine needles. Removed them all and went to test it. I even removed the cross bars on the roof. It's getting worse. I might die.

That is annoyingly loud.

When hitting bumps? Its probably a loose wiring harness that needs to be taped or refastened. Had this happen in another car.

So I forgot to mention this, I had a wild rattle coming from the rear right around 1000 miles. Turned out that the "recline handles" for the second row have a little screw hole cover on the back of them. The screw hole covers themselves were rattling like crazy so I just popped them out and the issue was gone. I'll try to grab a photo of the handles later today.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. I would start with taking EVERYTHING out of the car - any and all knick knacks you might have...to the smallest one and test it again to make sure it is nothing foreign to the car. Also check inside between the windshield and dash for anything that might have fallen there. If nothing works, I would just take it to the dealer and let them sort.

Two other items I found:
1. loose wiring harness in my headliner which the dealer fixed
2. The Slide on Rod sun visors (which put off a very similar noise to what you put in your video). I originally thought it was from where the sun visor meets the clip in the roof but it was the slide portion. I moved it a smidge (where it still clips into the headliner retaining clip) and it went away. Always meant to go back and add some light grease but never got around to it.

Had this happen to me; dealer cleaned the tracks and regreased them. This fixed the issue.

Hmm.. never knew about that (frankly its well hidden in the menu settings). Will give it a shot
I'm confuse about this. Don't we already have a physical button to set it to high? So, there's a setting to change the High setting to a warmer version of High?

This is what I initially assumed but it's not the case unfortunately. This is only useful if you are using the "Auto" settings in your heated/ventilated seats were adjusting +/- baseline values will determine "Auto sensitivity"

Yes. I use the climate concierge by default at all times. I assume if you make the suggested adjustments in the system, it will affect the concierge function by heating/cooling the seats more intensely when left in Auto. I will test this later today.

As a side note, the steering wheel heat is surprisingly strong to me when compared to my old 200 and it is great that it comes on with the auto/concierge function, which was not the case in the 200 where you had to manually press the button, even with the auto function on.

When I was getting my fuel tanks installed, I had a loaner RX. The seat heaters in that on setting "3" I had to take my jacket off. It was so hot.

I got the dealership to check the temp of the seats and they said they are within parameters and they only compare LX's to LX's. Well damn.

So I just got back from a trip where I rented a grand wagoneer. No problems heating up those heated seats, in fact it was quite uncomfortable after little more than 5 minutes, and then I had to tap tap tap tap tap to get the seat to go to low heat, but then had too many taps and then we hit a bump and had to tap it again (just a tap sense, not a physical button.

I found myself pining away for my climate concierge in the Lx. I sometimes wish it was more aggressive in the seats both heated and cooled, but it dawned on me at some point in the last few months that I have stopped thinking much about climate control in the LX700. It just takes care of everything and keeps me comfortable at the desired temp.

I don't think it's a flaw, I think that the design.

I gotta say, I am the same. Since having the 200 auto system I got used to not really worrying about climate adjustments. In the 300 is even better because I do not have to worry about the heating steering wheel too (it was not auto in the 200). In terms of efficiency, I am not really seeing a lot of difference between the 200 and 300, but I will say sometimes when it is really hot, I feel that the 300 concierge kinda takes a while to cool the upper portion of the cabin. It is not terrible, but the 200 was faster in doing so. Either that or the 300 kinda evens it out better between front and back cooling. I think because of all the drive modes, etc the 300 has to balance more between fuel efficiency and cooling activity, while the 200 could not care less for fuel efficiency and just blasted the cool air.

Anyone know how to replace engine air filters? I can't seem to find it in the maintenance section of the manual...

Center diff locker stopped working. Thought it was a battery issue, took it to the dealer. Diagnosed with an "internal failure" in the actuator. Getting a replacement under warranty. Will see how it turns out next week!
