Speaking of the lift gate. Does anyone else have problems getting the touch free open to work. All it ever does is beep at me. Is there some logic to make it work?

It does not move. It just beeps twice. I switched to the regular key to see if that would make a difference and opened the hatch with the button but I still had to shut it manually.
There could be a chance it’s the anti pinch sensors along of the edge of the hatch. Gently massage the edges and try again. If still no good I’d take it in for the dealer to test.

Yes, the credit card key is lame and only works 75% of the time. It USUALLY works all the time with the regular key though.

In my 700 I swear it only works when I do NOT want to. Like, if I am picking up something in the boot or installing the tow hook, then it detects my foot and sometimes attempts to close - then I have to hold it - or it just keeps beeping complaining I am under it. I could NEVER make it work as intended. It is very lame. It is literally the only thing that does not function properly in my car. Such a gimmicky useless thing.

Is there a way to deactivate it so it stops triggering when I am under it?

Yes, it's in the vehicle customization menu on the main center panel if memory serves.

weird i don't use the credit card and only a regular key
CC key is awesome. Now that i mostly drive a daily driver, i find ut annoying that i have this key fob in my pocket. CCK just stays in my slim wallet and go on with my day.

I agree, it’s very convenient in all aspects and I carry it most of the time…it’s good except for the rear hatch.

Center diff locker stopped working. Thought it was a battery issue, took it to the dealer. Diagnosed with an "internal failure" in the actuator. Getting a replacement under warranty. Will see how it turns out next week!

Ok, got official tech notes back:

"CLIENT STATES CENTER DIFF LOCK IS NON OPERATIVE, LIGHT WILL BLINK BUT WILL NOT LOCK. PLEASE INSPECT AND ADVISE. inspected, verified concern, found center diff is not locking.

connected scanner and performed health check, good. there is no fault data. performed visual inspection and found transfer case cover with scrape markings. potential impact damage to actuator.
Description inspected, verified concern, light for center diff lock is blinking. proceeded to perform all functions of 4wd. 4h to 41 function is normal, center diff, front diff and rear diff lock light are all blinking, will not lock. connected scanner and performed health check, good. there is no available failed data. checked data list and performed functions of 4wd, noted center diff position switch does not change along with center lock position signal. lifted vehicle and inspected actuator connectors, good, accessed 4wd ecu and disconnected, checked continuity in harness, good. removed harness insulation and accessed wiring. pack probed connector c47-3 to c47-4 after activating center diff. reading is abnormal. found an open circuit before and after diff activation.

proceeded with actuator replacement, drain fluid, disassembled, cleaned off sealing surfaces, replaced actuator, sealed transfer case, installed and topped off fluid. rechecked."

Definitely didn't have any impacts between when it was working and stopped working, but maybe a previous hit knocked it loose? Anyway, will see how it holds up next time I get off pavement.

I did from new. I did some googling and "reset" the kick sensor. I believe the sequence was:
turn off hands free in the center console
then turn car off
open and close rear hatch from the outside
turn car on
re-enable hands free in the center console.

It seemed to work well after this but I also usually have a bike rack on the back and I think it won't activate because it blocks the parking sensors.

Found it. OFF now. Thank God!

They replaced the whole thing, not only the harness? No charges and all under warranty?

That's what they told me, but I don't know enough technical stuff to verify. But paid $0 and got my 5k service done at the same time.

2022-24 LX600. Clunk into first gear during acceleration during a rolling stop, but also sometimes during highway driving and downshifting (6th-5th gear).

Solution: no solution, innate design flaw.

Partial solutions:
-You can alter your driving style with gentle pressure on the gas while the computer figures it out, then accelerate after the down shift.
-larger tires make the clunk less noticeable.

Extra comments:
I suspect the design anticipated the hybrid system, as the clunk is completely gone with the Lx700h, and the electric motor provides torque during engine start up from start/stop and also during highway passing maneuvers.
I would still be driving my 2022 with the above partial solutions. It was not a killer problem for me.
The early 200s had the same issue, then a TSB advised the replacement of the rear drive shaft with one having a different spline profile. Problem gone.

Today the tailgate on my 24 LX600 won't go down. It just beeps a couple of times. It opens fine but has to be shut manually (all the while it beeps in anger). Any ideas on how to rectify the problem will be greatly appreciated!!
Update. I tried the tailgate yesterday and still didn't work. I tried it again today and it started working. Maybe there is an electrical gremlin somewhere in the system.

Issue is detailed on another thread. Had same issue with my 2024 with about 7K miles on it. Was the pinch sensor on one side of the tailgate. Both sides’ sensors replaced under warranty. Common issue on LX, RX, NX, etc.

Update. Dealership is replacing the sensors on both sides. They said it would have cost over $1K if I had to pay for it.
