This was my last weekend to go... Shoulder surgery on friday is going to put me out of doing much of anything for the next few weeks.

:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

So did anyone go to Choccolocco? I am hoping to join you guys at the next meeting 4/2 and get accepted as a member. Then robustbambi and I will have to duke it out over the "Woody" naming rights. I have had mine longer :p.

Anyhow, here is a link to my rust repair thread..

Also, here is my introduction thread over on the 60 series wagon section:
Introduction/Story of my Woody

Really do look forward to joining and meeting some fellow Cruiser owners.

rescheduled for this upcoming Saturday due to weather with the option to camp and wheel Friday.

Weather is looking great so far for this weekend and the appeal of a campfire and a cold beverage had a huge influence in the decision to move the date. I know it's Easter weekend so we plan to bug out of Al. in time for you to be home Saturday evening.

Bumpity--lookin' forward to a campfire. Sid -- you and Adam still game?

I may be in again as long as the weather stays acceptable :)

Yep. What time?

I can get out at a reasonable time. Don't forget we pick up an hour on the way out. it'd be nice to pick up another rig or two, I know Dave is out, john--dunno and Patrick said maybe so we'll see.

Happy Easter everyone!

You guys missed a great ride. Turned out to be me, john, Sid and Adam and we had a blast. Weather was perfect!

Pics, enjoy: http://tedkinseywheelingtrips.shutterfly.com/2046

Here are some funny pics. One of those "you just had to be there" pictures.

Did Adam's Horsepower and heavy foot have anything to do with this?

Damn, Adam musta gotten some REALLLLLY sticky tires!!

I wish i could have been there. It seems like its been forever since i have been wheeling.

And thanks for calling me it made it so I wanted to be around that much more :flipoff2:

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Is there anything at Chocco for a relatively unmodified FJ62? I should have some decent wheels soon, but no lift or lockers yet. BTW, what tires are you guys running?

No problem for callin ya, twas a little late but your dad's idea so it had to be done.

Cove- June maybe June but July? - I'd rather not.

About 80% of Chocco can be run by a stock or nearly stock truck, even most of the "blue" trails (trail rating for mod difficult) we were on can be run stock.

At one point we had a stock 93 truck following us around, I was the last truck in our group and he fell in right behind me so i got to watch him pretty closely. We meandered around for awhile with him in tow until Adam started down a really steep long descent. As you're supposed to do on these you give the truck in front of you some distance before following down the hill, so Adam went, then John leaving me and the stocker up top not really being able to see what was in front of us over the crest of the hill. He was right on my bumper me when I started down and he followed right up until he crested the top and got an eye full of exactly he was getting himself into. He stopped. :hhmm:

I sure as hell do. Somehow I screwed up and wheeled with you in the same group at GSMTR 08. We stopped for lunch and I found you eating shrimp cocktails at Fain's Ford back when your 40 ran worth a crap. :flipoff2:

seems like yesterday my friend!!
