Well we can't catch a break this year, what do you guys want to do? Weather is 50/50 and 60* for Saturday in Alabama and to say we've been burned by the weather man in the past is a massive understatement.

The problem I see is that if we push it back a week that's Easter weekend, if pushed 2 weeks Chocco has a rock bouncing event and the place will be mobbed so I'm not interested in that.

The only other option I see is going this Sunday (30% rain) but that has it's own pitfalls.

Frankly, if the weather holds as is I'm leaning toward giving the weather man the finger and just going but not if I'm by myself.

So--who else?

Looks like rain or some sort of frozen precipitation Friday morning then mostly cloudy the rest of the day, so that should not harm the trails to bad. Wonder what time of day it is suppose to rain on Saturday? Low Friday night of 43, high Saturday of 61. What about camping Friday night and wheeling early Saturday? I'm like you Ted, I have thought about throwing the soft top on the truck and saying screw it!!

ata boy, a gamer--Now see folks, that's what I'm talkin' about.

I could be talked into campin Fri night. Jax is only 1 mile from the parking lot so no need for cookin anything. I have an easy-up and tarp so will stay dry. We can't be the only ones in camp Fri night can we?

OR

I suppose another alternative is go to Morris Mtn for the Shamrock Run scheduled for tomorrow -Sunday. Sounds like there's gonna be a crowd rain or shine.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of MM especially in the rain but just throwing it out there to see what sticks.

Just skip this weekend and wait two more for the Mardi Krawl at Hawk Pride. It's an unofficial TLCA event and there's gonna be a pretty good turn out it seems.... And I'll be there. :)

yeah I saw that too, the only ob that you can consistently get it wrong and still earn a paycheck.

I am in the same boat, but I cant go this weekend anyways...I am waiting for the right moment to ask Miranda if I can go to Mardi Krawl on Saturday because we will be in North Alabama that weekend... :hhmm:
 
guess I need to get your trailer back to ya then huh. I've been huntin all week and nothing good poppin right now but just a matter of time.

I'm gonna go ahead predict now that Jacksonville, Al. barely sees any rain at all much the 80% the stupid weather man is predicting. May the blue bird of happiness crap on his head if that happens. :deadhorse:

That said... (dammit :bang:) we've very reluctantly opted to bump it to NEXT WEEKEND in hopes of better weather and picking up another rig or two. Thinking going out mid Friday and coming back Saturday evening. This means camping Friday night. :beer:

not ignoring, just choosing not to acknowledge :flipoff2: is very tempting but just not in the time or cash budget right now.
 
guys, as much as I wanted to go to this one, the rain, work and me getting over a sinus infection prevents me from going. If I am lucky today, I may do my brakes..... have fun:)
