3-23-13 Choccolocco

:bounce:Day ride to Chocco on [STRIKE]3/23[/STRIKE]:bounce:

NOW 3/29-30(note the schedule change X2)

Hoping to have a decent crowd given that we've not "officially" wheeled since October. Chocco is relatively close at roughly 1.5 hours from ATL. Trails are mild to wild. For you guys in stock trucks you should be fine, if you're not confident grab an open seat.

ive never been and it sounds like fun. im in.

I hate that place. I'm out. Haha.

But, in reality, I'll be at K2 Rock Crawling whilst y'all are at Chocco learning how to be Rock Bouncers! Right Sid? Haha

It's Dave's favorite place. Gotta make the argument that it beats 45 hours of driving for just 2 days of wheeling though.

Maybe you should think about WHY someone would prefer to drive 45hrs for 2 days of wheeling over Chocco. :flipoff2: Maybe, just maybe, the wheeling is THAT much better.

Only reason I would like to be there is to hear Ted curse at me when I walk "Boat Ramp." :flipoff2::flipoff2:
Like I said, they're gonna be practicing their rock bouncing skills all day.

If it rains, y'all just gonna go to Morris Mtn instead?

We'll miss Steve, well maybe not, but certainly not you Sid :flipoff2:

I have no doubt the wheeling is great. Hell, for the distance it damned well better be. Like I've always said... If I drive 20+ hours to wheel I'm going just a little further all the way to Moab. :steer:

Also trying to get Dave to teach me a how to drive... :hhmm:

Ahhhh- NO! on Morris Mtn. I just don't see what the appeal is out there

NOTE TO ALL--DATE MODIFICATION TO 3-23

We made a 1 week adjustment due to numerous scheduling conflicts.

Hope to see some more mildly built trucks there or else I may be riding along with someone if there's an open seat?

you get a cb mounted in the rig yet, makes things much easier.

Excellent Sid, gettin' my one liners ready for ya at boat ramp.:flipoff2:

Yep I managed to fix the cb setup and it's working great!

So who is planning to be at the meeting location off the top end perimeter as indicated in first post? If no one plans to show their shiny faces there then we may just have a moving convoy across 285 around 8:30AM.

i could, its like 5 mins from me.

looks like I'm out for this weekend. need to fix a steering issue from last weekend.

sorry to hear that.

I'm going regardless of weather or any other thing that stands in the way, been a crappy enough week and I need to get out in the woods. I was thinking of going out Friday and camping but the weather don't look so great right now.
