Been swamped with work and finally digging out and coming up for some air. Extremely excited about this event and I will be attending.
Thank you @ekaholic, @1978HJ45, @peterb for all your work putting this event together.

Last years rally was fantastic. It was great to get together and meet so many 70 Series brothers. Looking forward to seeing you all and more this year!

Join up to the ONSC, Ol North State Cruiser club in the clubhouse section. I dont think ive seen you post there before, there are a ton of us in charlotte/greensboro and east coast side.

Unlike me, Sam actually has "organizational" skills so this years event should be better. :)
At a minimum, I think we'll have a greater variety of 70 Series present.
 
Its looking like I can't make the GSMTR this year due to a work conflict. Which puts the 2nd Annual Southeast 70 Series Meet and Greet and Trailride in the running for a tour in my '77. Too bad its also on the same weekend as my Duck Season opening. More thinking required!:hmm:

As a few here know, between an unexpected (solo) move, house renovation and construction, generally ungodly hectic times at work and commuting 3+ hours a day, I have not been very visible on MUD. Hell, that's not true - I haven't been here at all for almost 5 months with the exception of a couple of PMs here and there.

That said, I have not forgotten this event and I am going to be there. Furthermore, God willing and the creek don't rise, I will have hotel information to share in the first half of June - and then the real scheming can start. We will base ourselves out of a hotel in Oak Ridge, TN. That said, Windrock Park has a very nice campground setup for those that would prefer to camp - and unlike last year's event, the campground is not a haul from town and hotels ... If you want to camp, I would suggest making those reservations soon. I will have hotel info in June and will do my best to negotiate some sort of group rate ...

I'll join I75 in Cordele, GA and will take i75 all the way up traveling through Atlanta and Chattanooga. I assume the Florida guys will also travel north on I75.
