I hear he's running 35s on the Corolla, so you're gonna have to step up on the 77 to compete

Heck Sam, you know the 77 Series will be parked in the shade at the hotel while I ride the trails in the passenger seat of a super cool BJ74. :)

Already put in for time off, so I'm in .

Sam (@elkaholic ),
Before I commit to the September 70 Series event, can you confirm that there will be trails that resemble this. :)

That looks pretty slippery ... you might want to be careful there Charles.... a little water on those leaves and the 77 could t bone a tree :-)

Well I can't take that chance. I'll leave the 77 Series at home and ride with you.

Coal Creek / Windrock has plenty of gravel .... That said, if it rains, difficulty levels go up exponentially ....

Keep this in mind, in a past life I spent many a day leading folks in showroom stock Heeps in these trails with street tires on many of them. Not a one had any body damage as a result. There were a few mechanical failures, but no body damage.

Surely your 77 will outperform a Heep Liberty

Well it's not like the 77 Series is "trail rated". :)

Sam - Thank you for maintaining the MTPs (Mud Tech Protocols) - "Keeping it Tech"

If this particular thread deteriorates into one where only nuts, bolts and part numbers are discussed, we'll only have 2-3 people show up in September and that's not the objective.

I think the non-tech to tech ratio in this thread can be ignored. The old guys can stitch and bitch here. Ideally.
Us that the Moderator speaking or the Young Guy? :)
