Yup, I have some rake for sure, probably close to 1.5-2" higher in the rear, but man, when you're loaded down the truck will still handle great.

I'd prefer a level ride, but some rake really makes the 100 drive nicer... someone smarter than me could tell you why, I just know when the 100 sits level the truck feels really loose, and with some rake the truck feels planted and predictable.

I think they way to get it more level and keep the ride would be a good set of 860's and a set of airbags... then you can adjust to load- but who's got time for that!? :)

Thanks @REZARF. I’m pretty happy with the 864’s. I’ll admit, right after I installed them, and before driving it, I wasn’t too sure I made the right decision with them. I drove it a good while today with the trailer and am really happy with how it feels and handles. Think I’m going to crank on the T-bars a little and get the alignment checked. I’m at 21”
in the front and would like to settle on 21.5 to 21.75. I think that will give me adequate rake and will verify the droop.

What's the tongue weight on your trailer?

The 864s work well with 300+ lb tongue weight of my trailer. Looking for some better shocks though. 50k now on the OMEs time for something better.

Not sure. It’s pretty light as it’s just a M416 modified with a lid and RTT. The 864’s hardly know it’s there.

I put the 864's on my 100 and I'm very happy I made the switch. The ride is not noticeably different and it handles the weight I throw at it.

The ride with the 864 is great. I've had them on for 10+ years and drive a lot of dirt roads, mine have only settled 0.25" or so since new but the ride seems to have improved over the years. 4x4Labs rear bumper with a steel wheel and 285 tire off the carrier. But there is a pronounced rake on the truck, mine looks like a cinch bug.

Cranked torsion bars today and front end is up to 21.5 inches. Rear has settled to 23
inches. Happy with the new stance. Before and after pics below.

I'm going to resurrect this thread. I am adding a 4x4 labs rear bumper to the rear which will have a swingout for a tire. Are 864s overkill for this? No plan for overlanding gear, just a toughbox in the back with some misc recovery gear.

It might be a firmer ride with 64’s than 63’s. What kind of shocks are you running?

You don’t have enough weight to warrant 864s.

Agree with @fireball.

I had Slee heavies before the 864’s. I believe the Slee heavies are the same spring rate as 863’s but cut a little shorter to minimize the rake. Before installing the drawers and going to 864’s I had a similar set up as you (Slee bumper with swing outs) and the Slee heavies were perfect.

@Alibaster Check out the OME 866

At first I ran the 865 for 1.5” of lift and they were as comfortable as stock. When I got the bumper I moved over to slinky springs.

From my understanding and slee’s recommendation when I picked up their bumper was that 865 could be replaced with 866 or slee heavies.

Honestly I would avoid ome shocks. Lots of guys run 1.5” lifts on OEM shocks that are super inexpensive

Here’s a link to more confusing info on springs

Here’s some motivation
