MT wheels. 16". 285-75 tires. Not a great shot but maybe this helps.

I like the setup. Ride and handling is great. I added 4 degree caster shims in the front and a rear sway bar from a 62 which increased the road stability. It wasn’t bad without the sway bar, but it is better with it. Current tires are BFG all terrains. No fitment issues or rubbing. Upgraded to 4:10 gearing
I love it!!
Happy with the Toyo in 255?
I've been missing the days of the same setup 255 on my 61, but I had bfg km2. Wrecked 2 tires, and went with KO2 in 33x10.5r15... measured them, since they looked small. And yeah, they're not 33, they're barely 31.5 tall.
But only tire I can get here in 255 is km3. Suuper pricy, so definitely considering a different tire in 255.
I can get the 285 Toyo mt for a decent price...might do that, as they're closer to 33" at least, which is minimum for my type of trails.

285/75 R16 BFG KO2 on Dynamic 'Soft 8' 16x8 -22 steel wheels on my HJ61.
Dynamic are an Australian wheel manufacturer, unsure whether they're actually manufactured in Australia but quality is certainly better than some of the garbage you see out there.
Here in NZ we deal with 'offset' rather than 'backspacing'. From my limited research into the difference between the two, it appears my -22(mm) offset would be a 3.63" 'backspace'. Obviously this directly related to the wheel width, so when you guys are talking about a 3.5" 'backspace' on your stock wheels at 7"wide, that is equivalent to a -12 'offset'.
I find it interesting that as whole, the American cruiser scene seems to prefer taller, narrower tyres and a narrower, less aggressive wheel to what we tend to see here in NZ and even Australia. I have incredibly sagged rear leafs and experience zero rubbing on compression, further more I have no issues with the front tyre scrubbing on full lock.
Anyway, pics or it didn't happen chuur

Sounds good! And that's the OEM 16x7 wheel? Please post more pictures from different angles, seeing how your sits in the wheel wellyou can also send them on WhatsApp or mail pal.sneve ( a ) gmail.com if you don't want to post that many

Whoa whoa, before more disinformation is sent out, the 70 series wheel is NOT 16x7. A wheel is measured bead seat to bead seat. The wheel is a 16x6. Measuring edge to edge is incorrect for wheels.

my mistake. I misprinted that.
