Geolandar MT 255/85/R16 on 70 series rims

I know you asked about 16” wheels. I went with 17” steel Tacoma rims. I am running 255/80/R17 Toyo AT3. Love the size.

Yeah but you most likely need spacer and no matter what people say, spacer is just another additional piece of equipment to check. Less is better.

Definitely no wheel spacers up here.

Update. KalTire can get Yokohama MT. They are now 485.00 a tire which is freakin crazy. So I guess it going to be the other option.

It takes a lot of money to get into IFS hubs and an 80 axle to push the widths out 1.5” each side.

Have any of the people running 285/75r16s on the 70 series 16x6” 42601-60262-03 wheels had any issues with abnormal wear?

I have about 10000 km on a set of Duratracs of said size with 70 series rims. No abnormal wear thus far.
