I strategically placed 1x4s, including 2 edge laminated to create a 1x8 for the side supports. The 1x8 is near the rear where it would be inconvenient to have an L section so I added a second 1x for strength but kept everything low profile for maximum internal space.

A 1x6, stacked and glued to the plywood to help reinforce it and prevent tearing in an accident. The plywood is glued to 1x material on the front side in the corners to help hold the corners together and also allow clearance to the front as well as space for uprights for my attic rack.

Dr KDSS makes a relay and switch. If you want your system to disconnect over 12 mph.

Any reason you went for green over yellow? I'd been looking at the yellowstuffs for their higher temp rating.
I just did new Powerstop Evolution rotors and pads on all four corners. New brakes always feel really good!
Just waiting on one more thing then it will be time to do the front brakes on the GX. Should arrive tomorrow.

I did green because I didn't want too aggressive of a pad. Once I know what the Greens are like I may end up putting Yellows on the 4Runner.
