Last time my 80 did that the wife and I were out on a date. We were stuck for about as long as it took to engage the lockers and back out

Also, today I will be rolling 151k on my way home from work. That means I have put 8k miles on it in one year. Trouble free

No pics, but I started beating out the dents on the front fender of foo. Looks like some metal repair at the bottom is needed as the rust bandit has been busy.

Time to start thinking about wrenching weekend.

I want to see that video. While I used to have an XJ and loved it, still miss it a little, it never stood a chance against my 80. Not even against the wifes 80 for that matter.

Haha yeah that little bastard came out of nowhere and hopped on the hood too.

Tried to get one of the dog in the back but he didn't come out to play. The driveway is sloped causing the suspension to flex actually haha

Nope. It's on a friend of mines that builds these out in California. I don't have a tube bender otherwise I would give it a shot since my father in law has everything else in his shop.

Yep. All about the approach angle. Have keep to up with the 80's

Foo is loosing stripes and rust. I also decided to delete the antenna on the front fender for the stereo and moving onto the rollbar.

Finally got em... Too bad they're scratched through the powder in 8 different locations. (few dozen scratches)

Since I've had my 60 the dome lights never worked. That all changed today!

Soldered a broken connector in the dome light switch. Success!

Found a severed hot wire inside the washer fluid panel for the cargo light. Looks like it may have been cut whenever the trailer lights got installed. Went ahead and added some extra light back there, too.
