Started working on Foo. Hydro was goal, pulling pump out and gearbox. Had "while your at it" happen. Oil pump gasket, radiator flush and new rubber.

It looks like you've got a centering valve on your steering box. Soak that thing with penetrating oil and put some heat to it before you try to remove, then use an impact driver like in the video I sent you. Trust me, you don't wanna strip that out... Also looks like you have plenty of room to hit the vein on top so you shouldn't have to go to front of the box.

I've been soaking it with some of Jobes' magic spray.

Going to try to work on it tonight before the storm blows in.

I was able to get the crank bolt off and started soaking the screws for the oil pump too.

Picked up the new power steering pump last night.

One question for any 80 freaks out there, can I or should I bypass the cooler lines going to the radiator? Seems odd to have that in the radiator and have a separate cooler. I never really liked the possibility of the two mixing either.

I think it's pretty standard for stock PS return lines to have a little section of the radiator for it. Not all though.

Since you're going hydro assist you'll definitely want a quality oil cooler to keep up with the higher flow and potentially higher temperatures.

I bought a smaller version of this eBay cooler. Least expensive quality cooler that's not made in China I could find.

This type has very little pressure drop compared to the tube and fin type. Efficient too.

Rob playing in the snow

Rob brought Lexi back to play in the snow with the kids!

Shredded up the field pretty good.

Well, installed the CDL and 7 pin mod today without much a hiccup.

And my girlfriend got me a Yeti cooler for the Auburn/kState game 9/21 this year.

Did you get 5 tires from Jamie or 4? I am selling 3 rims that look like that.

I only have three left, so I am selling singles. Take a look and see if you want one. Make you a hell of a deal. Posted pics up on for sale area above.
